The Commander in Chief Ball is live on the internet. Jon has not performed as yet, but he is supposed to. There is a great 70s band on there now. It is a live feed on the internet at www.pentagonchannel.mil. Then click watch live. It is great. The 70s band is really good. I expect Jon will be a headliner or something. The Obamas have not been there yet. |

They just said that the "band Bon Jovi" is coming up in a bit. I wonder if all the guys are there and not just Jon. I had heard earlier that it was Jon. Wow, what a treat, if it is the whole band!

I hope we can find this on YT tomorrow. I was busy with 'rents and in-laws. My son gave me a proud mama moment tonight and we were celebrating. He was awarded the Martin Luther King Jr. award at school tonight. So I was busy with one of my other fave guys tonight. |

I got a kick out of the announcer, too. He sput and sputtered all over his name. Think he is a fan? LMAO!
Hath, I loved him adjusting his tie also. I was waiting for him to undo it all together.
What was the ribbon that was hanging down underneath his tux. At first I thought he had a vest open and then I realized it wasn't attached at the side, so then I thought maybe suspenders but then when he bended forward to shake hands it moved forward like some sort of sash around his neck. It looked like a dark satin blue in the light. Looked pretty sexy, though. He was very yummy tonight!

Aw, that's great, Steph! What'd he do to earn the award? Long story short, he did the right thing. He's a school safety and he was directing kids to the cafeteria one morning for breakfast and he got hit in the face. Instead of hitting this kid back, Michael went and told someone what happened. As his teacher put it, he chose the peaceful solution instead of the violent one. All that and he's a pretty good kid/student too. |

I thought it was great when they wanted more and he said he could stay there all night and he gave them one more. How sweet is he. Tell your daughter thank you for her service and sacrifice that she has made for all of us. I truly admire anyone that makes that kind of sacrifice for our freedom. I am happy for you that she is getting out soon. Does she have any plans for after the military or will she be in the reserves for a while? Is she a Bon Jovi fan also? I hope she got to watch the ball. |

Thank sweetie I will tell her. ;D She has a few options after the military. She speaks five languages and she has a security clearance just under the President.  So FBI, CIA or private industry are possibilities. She is also thinking of going to Law school on the GI Bill and studying international law. Yeah she's got a lot on the ball and I'm proud of her. Thanks for letting me brag just a little.  |

Hath, I followed the link you gave to the live feed & they have it as a vid on there now. brilliant watched it all. Was itching to go up & fix the bow tie for Jon (would only take an hour or 10) ;D  The cameraMAN really liked Lorenza couldn't take the camera off her. Mattie |
