Ladies...
Thanksgiving and Christmas are right around the corner, and the Holiday Season are in full swing.
This year, I would like to try something new here at T's Place. If it works, then we'll make it a yearly tradition.
Here's how it will work....
Anyone interested in participating will PM me their address (with SECRET SANTA in the subject line so that I don't get goofed up). You must not have a problem with me passing it on to your Secret Santa. I will randomly put people together so that everyone has a Secret Santa. This means that just because you are a person's Secret Santa doesn't mean that they are yours. I will be the only one that knows who everyone's Secret Santas are. I'm sure it will be a lot of fun trying to guess on here who your Santa is. There will be a big reveal the week of Christmas.
Please let me know if you would like to send gifts to someone outside the US or if you would prefer someone here in the states. I know that shipping something outside the country you live in can be really high...so I will try to hook up people that are in the same country...when possible...that's why I'll take volunteers who are willing to have their person live in a different country. Also, please let me know if you can afford to take on two people...in case we have an odd number of participants.
Now, the rules will be just a little different than if you've ever done this where you work. I've had to adapt them to work for an online thing.
1...Price limits on gifts are $10US. I'm not sure how that will translate into other denominations (like Euros)....but hopefully, you all do. You shouldn't send any gifts over that amount.... before shipping is added into it.
2....You should try not to let the person you are shipping to figure out who you are. If there is anyway to ship things without having to give out that type of info...use it...lol
3....You have to send your person a small gift once a week, beginning on 11/23. Now, you might not get anything in the mail that week...but once you start getting stuff...you would get one gift every week. Now, it might be something as simple as a Christmas card...or a little piece of mistletoe....or a Christmas ornament...it can even be a handmade gift...just as long as you don't spend more than $10 US on it. The last gift should be mailed the week of Christmas, but might not be received until after the holiday. Deadline for sending me your PM with your address letting me know you want in on this will be...11/18. That gives me a little time to hook everyone up and everyone to have a few days to decide what to send to their people.
4....the gifts don't necessarily have to be Jovi gifts...but we all know those will be fun to make and get...lol
I really hope that we'll have a lot of participants, because the more the merrier!!
