Yep! The T's Place tradition is back again this year! For anyone that doesn't know (or needs a refresher) here's how it works...
If you are interested in participating, send me a PM with your name and shipping address. So far, I've paired up Europeans with other Europeans, and Americans with other Americans to keep shipping costs low. I will be trying to do that again this year. However, just in case for some reason that is not possible, please let me know if you are able to take on someone that lives too far away.
We will be sending gifts for 5 weeks again this year, but we're gonna do things just a tad differently this year. For the first two weeks the limit is $5 maximum (you can NOT spend more than $5 on your gift), then for week number 3 and 4 the limit is $10 maximum (you can NOT spend more than $10 on each gift for those weeks), and then for week 5, the limit is $25 maximum ($10 minimum). The first week will be the week of Thanksgiving here in the States (the week of November 20 - 26). The last week will be the week right before Christmas (December 18 - 24).
The deadline to let me know (by PM) that you want to participate will be November 16th. I will PM everyone back by Nov. 17th with the name of the person you will be sending gifts to. Everyone regardless of religion is eligible to participate. Last year, we even had a couple Jewish girls who participated. I had one for a recipient and Lucy had the other. We just tried to send appropriate gifts, but I'm sure that no one here would mind if the present was a little un-Jewish...lol.
You should send one gift per week to your recipient. For example, I will give you the name of the person you will be shopping for on the 17th, you will get a gift and have it in the mail in time for them to receive it on or before November 26th (for the first week), then by December 3rd (for the second week) and so on...
All of the gifts you send your recipient do not have to be Jovi related gifts...all gifts are appreciated, but all of us love getting something that is not only band themed...but something to do with our favorite band member too!
We usually post pics of our presents on this thread to show off what we got...but it is not required. It is, however, polite to post a "Thank you, Santa" for your Santa to read and know that you got your gift.
Any questions? You can post them here, and I'll answer here. But, send me your name and shipping info in a PM.

I so totally wanna cheat and rig the name drawing thing this year so that I get Mattie to be my secret Santa, so that I can have one of her AWESOME drawings of Jon! But, I won't... 
I won't cheat the name drawing...and I wouldn't want to make Mattie have to pay postage all the way to the States for 5 whole weeks!...lol
But, just sayin'....Whoever gets Mattie...you are one LUCKY LUCKY person!

I just wanted to add that we have someone in Australia this year that would like to participate, but she said only if someone else from the Land Down Under had an interest in joining in. She says otherwise the postage would be quite pricey. So, if you are from Oz and would like to participate but were shying away because of this...there's someone else down there with ya, so come on ....Speak up!!

We have a few new people this year, so I would like to ask everyone to post some info on this thread about themselves, just to help out your Santa... I'll give you examples by telling you stuff about me...

I'm of a religious faith that celebrates Christmas (NOT Hanukkah or Kwanza)
My birthday is in June (for any kind of birthstone/ birth month specific gifts)
Just to let ya'll know, I did the same thing this year that I've done in previous years... I gave Lucy's (Jon's Gutter Girl) name and address (because we're room mates) to two of you. You both will send gifts here, and I'll let Lucy pick when the first two gifts arrive... which ever gift she chooses will decide which Santa she'll be getting and which one I'll be getting. That way it still sort of keeps it anonymous for me as well as all of you. So, if you're one of the two people that got Lucy's name, watch the thread to see which one of posts that we received the first gift you sent...that way you'll know which one of us you're sending to me or her.
If you have any questions that you need your recipient to answer.... PM the question to me and I'll get the answer from your recipient and get back with you in PM. That way your recipient will still be kept guessing as to who you are.

Ok, here we go: My favorite band member is Jon, occasionally Richie no allergies, no diabetic. I celebrate christmas my birthday is in August, I'm a leo too (*waves at Elena*)  I love music, movies and books...as long as it has nothing to do with law!!! lol I have to read that stuff everyday. Let's see what else...oh, I just moved into my new apartment a couple months ago and it still looks blank except for furniture. Didn't have time to pick up some decoration. |

My Birthday is in March so I'm an Aries
I am diabetic but have been known to have the...uh...occasional sweet treat and have a husband who helps out with the rest.
I love reading, mainly crime but also love the occasional chick lit for some light relief!
I also love music, listening and going to gigs but cannot play any instrument.
I like to write, whether its FF or just a daily rant, and I have three dogs who I love and hate in equal measure.
I'm not religious but I acknowledge Christmas as family time rather than anything to do with Jesus and God and all of that stuff...I do like singing the carols though!
Thats about all the interesting stuff. Now off to start shopping

I love black chocolate!! I love reading. I love historical books and on the other hand I love dark stories (vampires...) but I like to read everything I can get. I play guitar. I love Rudolf the reindeer, and I love Christmas time, though this year is gonna be a little sad. I have no problems with others religions, actually, I think that everything is the same. I was ready to kill today! And at least 30 other people wanted to do the same.
And no...I wasn't in a courtroom....I was at the post office!!!
Believe it or not, they had exactly two people working there, while the other three were doing Lord knows what!!
I waited 45 Minutes to send my stuff away! Plan in some little time Secret Santas. lol
