Yep! The T's Place tradition is back again this year! For anyone that doesn't know (or needs a refresher) here's how it works...
If you are interested in participating, send me a PM with your name and shipping address. So far, I've paired up Europeans with other Europeans, and Americans with other Americans to keep shipping costs low. I will be trying to do that again this year. However, just in case for some reason that is not possible, please let me know if you are able to take on someone that lives too far away.
We will be sending gifts for 5 weeks again this year. And just like last year... for the first two weeks the limit is $5 maximum (you can NOT spend more than $5 on your gift), then for week number 3 and 4 the limit is $10 maximum (you can NOT spend more than $10 on each gift for those weeks), and then for week 5, the limit is $25 maximum ($10 minimum). The first week will be the week of November 25 - Dec 1. The last week will be the week of Christmas (December 23 - 29).
The deadline to let me know (by PM) that you want to participate will be November 22nd. I will PM everyone back by Nov. 23rd with the name of the person you will be sending gifts to. Everyone regardless of religion is eligible to participate. So, even if you don't celebrate Christmas, but some other winter holiday...it would still be a lot of fun to join in.
You should send one gift per week to your recipient. For example, I will give you the name of the person you will be shopping for on the 17th, you will get a gift and have it in the mail in time for them to receive it on or before November 26th (for the first week), then by December 3rd (for the second week) and so on...
All of the gifts you send your recipient do not have to be Jovi related gifts...all gifts are appreciated, but all of us love getting something that is not only band themed...but something to do with our favorite band member too!
We usually post pics of our presents on this thread to show off what we got...but it is not required. It is, however, polite to post a "Thank you, Santa" for your Santa to read and know that you got your gift.
Any questions? You can post them here, and I'll answer here. But, send me your name and shipping info in a PM.

Remember to post pics and/or a description of your gifts so that we can all oooh and ahhh over them and agree with you about how awesome they are and what an amazing Santa you have.

My Santa said that she was the queen of procrastination so she sent the 1st and 2nd week all in one package. So, I got them both today. My Santa has a wicked sense of humor! She sent me a framed pic of a squirrel in a santa hat and some chocolate "moose" reindeer peeps...and sorry no pic cuz I already ate the peeps before I remembered I should take a pic...lol. And my week two pressie is a very special frame of one of my all time favorite pics of Jon. The pic where he's looking over Richie's shoulder with a very sneaky grin on his face....and the frame asks the question ..."Who wants to participate in a little holiday scandal?"

Here's a question for everyone...if your Secret Santa wanted to send you some bootlegs....which bootlegs would you like to have? Is there any that you're just dying to have? There's a Santa that would like this information, and I don't want to ruin the whole gift giving surprise thing, so if everyone gets asked it will keep the thing anonymous. So, please answer...one of you will be helping your Santa.
As for me, there's not too many bootlegs that I know about that I don't have. However, if there's a video bootleg of the mastercard show the other night...I want....lol It wasn't my Santa that asked, but I figured if everyone had to answer, I should too...just to be fair.

Got my week 1 gift thanks secret santa for the chocolate mmmmm, Xmas star, BJ postcard & the Richie DVD :-)
I'll post a phot soon.
~I have sent my week 1 gift (sorry it's a bit late, I was away from home for a few days). I'll play catch up for the next gifts.
I have to ask my santa if I can copy the dvd for my friend who is a BIG Richie fan; got to see him in Amsterdam with her.....absolutely brilliant ;D

So my Secret Santa is after my own heart...a little behind but with a quirky sense of humor. (But s/he is WAY better at poetry than I am...) I got my first pressie on Saturday and proceeded to spend most of the day Sunday making a mess but having a glorious time with it.  Then JUST NOW I got Pressie #2. I was a little worried when I tore off the paper and found this....   But then I giggled when I found this (after I figured out it was NOT edible undies!)   Thank You Santa! ;D |
