... and it's about 8:20am EDT. I've been up since 4, and at work AT MY DESK since 5:45. Had an awesome sticky bun for breakfast, and have worked my way through the better part of a 6-pack of diet code  Looking for diversions today; we're in a holding pattern until noon. Anyone around for a chat? Can't tweet or IM (stupid firewall at work) so this'll have to do... |

lol it does drive me crazy especially when I didn't go to sleep till 1:30 or so and wake up wide awake at 7:30 lol. So...what is it exactly that is so important that you had to go to work to sit and wait lol...now that would drive me crazy lol

We're doing a datacenter switch over, where we turn off the comps in one place and turn on someplace else and we have to test all our apps...this afternoon lol

Lucy it's a suspense, murder-mystery, cop drama kind of thing. I'm telling it from the POV of the killer.
"I can't believe how easy it was to kill him." That's what her journal entry for today started. She had stalked the man for some time before taking him, plotting and planning her revenge. She smiled as she remembered him begging her not to end his life.
"You ended mine, it's only fair I end yours," she replied, as the scalpel sliced through the thick muscle of his thigh.

I read enough of them, and watch all manner of cop-type-shows, plus I have a gf who's w/the State Department and she has friends who're secret service and "regular" cops, so I have a sounding board to keep me honest. I figure I'll give it a few thousand words, see if I can get something to gel. Wanna see if I can write something I don't have to sneak at home |

Is this story something you'll be posting on your blog....b/c I love stories like that? Not sure yet. Depends on how it comes out If my sounding board really likes it, I may try to get it published somewhere. If they just kinda like it, and don't think it would make a good "real" book, I can post it. Ask T : publishers won't touch something if it's posted all over the 'net b/c then nobody would buy it lol |
