Yep, the girls are meeting in NYC on Aug 20. Queenie, TaraLeigh, Willow, FictionMistress, and I. Don't know where we're staying or what we're doing, but dammit, the tweets will be fast and furious!

Good Lord, is the City still gonna be standing when you're done? ; ) I'll miss y'all by a week -- goin' to NYC 8/14-8/15 to meet one of my She-Cops and have a day/night on the town. We're goin' to see TOXIE! : ) Can't wait!

*big sigh* Once again I'm missing out!
I was just talking to Lucy the other night about trying to plan some sort of Jovifest thing for next spring or early summer. We figured that Arkansas was pretty centrally located and that we could have a big get together here.
We could take all of you to see some of the sites....and in between site seeing have bootleg watching sessions here at my house.
I only have room to sleep about five here....but next door my mom has a spare room that I'm sure she would be willing to loan us for another one or two to use....but after that we'd have to resort to hotel rooms. We haven't picked a date yet, because we wouldn't wanna interfere with the boys' tour, and also, we would like to try and make it as convenient as possible for everyone.
Of course, we're making all these plans and don't even know if anyone would even WANT to come....lmao

Ladies, if you go to see Toxie (and I'm about 99.9% sure you will), be sure to be crazy & LOUD! I went this weekend and was lucky enough to chat with "Long-Haired Rock Stud" Chris Cicchino (the Toxie band guitarist) after the show. He was very sweet & funny, and was rather surprised that my girlfriend & I recognized him/wanted to take pics with "one of the band geeks." (I ASSURE you, he's no geek!) He also told me to "tell all my friends" to come to the show. I mentioned there was likely gonna be a rowdy bunch of Jovi girls in the audience next weekend, so he's keeping an eye out for you (no pun intended, given Toxie's appearance). If you happen to see Chris, tell him Catte (aka "the ATM girl") sent ya!  Also, Colin the bartender is a really nice guy...I highly recommend arriving an hour early for a drinkie-poo or two! |

So, Catte, a signboard with "Gimme your Hot, Toxic Love" wouldn't be a bad thing? lol
We're def. going Thursday night; 11th row. I already DM'd Toxie on Twitter, and demanded post-show hugs. We'll see lol

Hath - I think a signboard would be a fabulous idea! ;D And when you see Chris play....OH WOW. Like a younger Joe Perry. The entire cast and band was FABULOUS (Diana DiGarmo knocked it out of the park!), but I must say, I missed several key moments because I was distracted....you know I have this little problem with hot, dark-haired axemen.... Have a GREAT time, girls! Looking forward to following the tweets! |
