That was an excellent game. And a heartbreaker for the Cardinals.
Sorry girls.

What a GAME! Exciting the whole way through. We're all about ready to throw up, we've eaten so much crap and had so much to drink lmao.... But damn, the Cards almost pulled it out of their ass. I know it's against the rules for a Pats fan to root for Pittsburgh, but I had to. I have a lil crush on Big Ben

I'm disappointed the Cardinals lost. Congratulations to the Steelers fans.
I have to say I don't like the Steelers' Harrison at all. He is a big bully punching and hitting a guy when he is already down. I agree with Madden that he should have been thrown out of the game for what he did.

I forgot to add that it was a great game. It really went down to the wire.

Yeah, Mys, it's one thing to be aggressive, it's quite another to fight dirty.

I wish that the NFL would adopt Jon's No Thugs allowed rule.

That's probably true, but beating a guy when he is already down is just wrong. When I saw that it made me hate the steelers. If that is the kind of guys they have on their team, I don't want to root for them. Just the idea of them winning the superbowl after they played dirty like that makes me sick. They sure don't deserve it. It is like rewarding a kid or an animal for being bad and then they take it as its okay to do that because it got me what I wanted.
I know that sounds naive and stupid but that is how I feel. You can play the game and still be a gentleman and respect your opponent. IMO
Don't get me wrong I enjoy football like everyone else, but like Hath said, there is a different between being aggressive and playing dirty.

That's true Hath... I haven't heard him say there was a No Hussy's allowed rule.

I watched part of the game last night, sorry but couldn't figure it out don't know the rules, I'll have to have a chat with my brother J he likes American Football. I saw the 100yd touchdown that was unreal !!!! Well, I know that feeling...when I first started watching American Football, I realized it's completely different from our football/soccer...it took me a while to figure out the rules...you can google them though, helpful...believe me (and you don't have the language problems!! ) But I think it's only normal...I grew up with soccer, my dad watches soccer every weekend, played himself when he was younger, if you want it or not, you are able to explain the rules...it's same in the US, the kids grew up with football...and I'm sure every kid knows what a yellow or red flag means...I was confused...yellow and red CARDS in soccer mean you have to leave the field for the rest of the game...I was already worried that there won't be any player left on the field at the end of the first quarter...LOL Now I know better ;D Two years change a lot...by now I hate soccer!! So boring!

I might do that Kris, I grew up with Gaelic football & hurling which is different to soccer, a lot rougher & faster, but we also watched soccer. My brothers played Gaelic football & hurling more than soccer, my nephews & nieces play gaelic as well. It's more popular in Ireland than soccer!!! I'll get my brother to explain the American football rules to me that might be easier.

I agree Hath, I couldn't watch all the game without knowing what is going on. I'll definitely have to study the rules & pick a team if I'm going to watch American football again. But I must say that the "tight little pants" have got me interested in watching another game. When's the next game on???

There's one game left before they pack it in. The ProBowl is this Sunday. Then (what I call) the Dark Period sets in. It doesn't get light again until July, when my season tickets show up in the mailbox
