Ok, I just realized we don't have a football thread like on the old board...and if I'm not mistaken the championship games and the superbowl are coming up, so we need a place!! ;D So, which team will you cheer for tomorrow? GO EAGLES!!!... ;D Do I have to say more??  Wouldn't it be great when Philly would win the Superbowl. NFL and AFL titel in one year. Sounds good to me!! And you know what's the best thing...I CAN WATCH IT ON TV!!!!   |

I don't know. Somehow the teams I wanna see in the Superbowl ain't doing well. The Eagles already lost...and then I decided I'm for the Ravens, but it isn't looking good for them either...WELL, at least I can watch LIVE!!! But I'm getting tired...help!!

Since I don't have a team because Los Angeles can't get their shit together.  I'm pulling for the Steelers because my Jovi travel partner has been a big fan of their's since she was a kid and she's never lived anywhere near Pittsburgh. So go Steelers!!  |

Great pic, Kris. I'm rooting for them too.
Just watched Jennifer Hudson sing. What a voice! You could tell she was nervous, but she did it beautifully. You can really see the sadness in her eyes from all she has been through, though. I really just wanted to reach into the TV and hug her.

Yeah, I had the same feeling, it's the first time I saw her since this "nightmare"...I don't know if I could be so strong. I know I couldn't be. I would be a mess. She is very brave and I admire her courage. But I guess somehow life goes on and at some point you have to decide that this is the time to get out of bed, pull yourself up by your bootstraps, and put one foot in front of the other, and go on. The thoughts I have had with regards to the tragedy that surrounds her is----how do you get over the fact that it was really all about your sister and not the ones who died? How do you keep from blaming your sister for the choices she made that lead to the tragedy and how do you forgive those mistakes? But at the same time she is all you have left of family. That would be so hard. I would think a very strong faith and trust in God would get you through that. I can't imagine any possible human way. It is human nature to want to blame someone and very difficult to forgive. You know what I mean? JMO |

Ok, I'm worried.... seems I don't get news here in Germany. The reporter (a huge Springsteen fan he's totally excited) on TV just said that Bruce Springsteen won an Golden Globe for the Music of "The wrestler"!! I didn't know that!! *shock* Is he Oscar nominated as well???
