It's fantastic to be able to know someone you "knew" on de net and discover that she/he has a lot of things in common with oneself. Happy for you girls!! I wish I could do the same some day.

Looks like a good time was had by both of you!
I can't talk up the SOTB nearly enough. I have yet to meet a fan IRL or on the phone who's a psycho (of course, I stay away from BSWJBJ lol). I was trying to explain to my MIL yesterday that there's an instant bond because of what we have in common, and we expound on that.
I just think it's wonderful!

I firmly believe in the SOTB....and like Hath, I stay away from backstage. I've ran into a few ONLINE that were whack job kool-aid drinkers, but I steered clear of those and of course didn't give them any way to contact me away from the computer....lol.
You girls look so happy in those pics!! I'm glad ya'll had such a great time. And Liz.....I have that very same t-shirt....imagine that....lmao

I felt the same way when I met the other Lily (wildflower.) I felt as though I had known her for years. I'm firm believer in the SOTB! I do not go to backstage either, though I'm thinking of joining for concert tickets on this tour. BTW you two did look like you had fun! I'm happy for you!

We had a great time, and we didn't torture her family tooo much....in fact Elena only won the battle of the CD player in the car once...and that was to play Toxie for me! ;D
We could have been worse...we could have watched The Leading Man on the big T.V. instead of the DVD player! Elena's daughter should be thankful! ;D ;D
I'm a little tired today, so I won't be hanging around too long...but it was DEFINITELY worth it!
Anyone know how we can get SOTB shirts made up? I think it would be hilarious if we all wore them to whatever shows we go to....I wonder how long it would take Jon to ask what was with the shirts! I know Ang on the other board had some made through zazzle, but the shirts are sized very small

I use Zazzle to make custom shirts, and you can get up to 5x. I made sleepshirts w/my son's hockey picture on it, and shirts for Jovi shows, including a Sambora shirt, and a "Fan number" shirt  |

I am firmly ensconced in the SOTB camp. The girls I have met IRL and on line are the best.
Bay it looks like you and Liz had almost as much fun in Niagara Falls as the Fictionistas had in NYC!

Fred I SWEAR you dont let me know next time I'm gonna.....................pout  Girls you looked like you had a blast. And loved how you went to where Liz based Richies wedding*sigh* wonderful. SOTB is firmly in my heart. I've met several peeps and not a kool aid drinker among them My 'sister' MJ came over from US and stayed with me for a week and we'd met on a Jovi board. Rob couldn't believe we hadn't met before. He said he couldn't get a word in all week lol. At concerts last tour I FINALLY met people who I've 'known' for, what is it Luce? 6yrs, since we met on AXP. One day Luce, one day Its just wonderful to meet people who are like minded and not just because of the band. |

Just saw this thread, I am also a firm believer in the sisterhood of the brotherhood...got a great room mate out of the deal not to mention some of the best friends I've had in my life! A lot of them I've met, some of them I haven't but it doesn't matter all of them have always been there for me more so then some of my friends IRL as we say! Glad you guys had such a great time

Is Niagara Falls where you guys met??? Ohhh....I was just there last month! We went to the Hard Rock too! I found the Jovi pins there which I wasn't able to find in Detroit or Orlando & my friend in the D.C. area wasn't able to find it there either! Where did you guys stay? We stayed at the Embasy Suites but I did drive past the Bed of Roses B&B! I remember screaming to my husband "OMG! There's a Bed of Roses B&B!" He just rolled his eyes at me! LOL! What a small world! I'm only 4 hours away from there so if anyone is headed that way, please let me know! It's so wonderful meeting Jovi sisters! I've had pretty much great luck with those that I've met so far being great people (except for one psycho case but we're no longer friends!)  I hope to meet more in the future too! Okay, one more question....what does SOTB mean?  P.S. Loved the pics & you girls are so pretty & looks like you had a great time!!! Poor Jon, Richie, David & Tico that don't get to meet all of their lovely fans! They'd love us! (Well, Bayaderra has been fortunate, but not all of us get to have a hug from our Jovi man & have it preserved on film either!) |

I stayed at the Travelodge, but Elena and her family were there for a week and rented an apartment.
We did indeed have a great time.You'd think we'd know each other for years the way we talked for hours! ;D
