I just got terrible news, my aunt's cancer is back and they have brought it hospice now. I don't like to ask for it and I'm not asking it for myself but please keep her and her family (kids) in your prayers.

Beth, I know that it seems like there will never be another sunny day....that laughter is more than a million miles away. And maybe that's true, for at least a little while....don't let anyone tell you that time heals all pain...because that's just the bullshit that it sounds like. However, with time you can come to realize that your aunt is somewhere far better, where she's no longer in pain, and with loved ones long gone....and that she's waiting to welcome you when your time comes. The comfort of knowing that is what really will heal you...or at least start the scabs to forming.
I'm praying for God to give you and your family strength to get to that comfort zone time. Hugs!

Today and tomorrow are going to be so hard. Today is the wake and tomorrow is the funeral.
