Yeah, it's time again and I liked the title at the old board ;D, so let's get this thing started!!!! Just to let you all know, I made sure I can watch every single game this year I want to!!!  And just to make sure that Hath reacts to this  GO GIANTS!! |

The first Razorback game is this evening...kick off is at 6pm! GO HOGS! But, I'm a bad fan..I have a date tonight....so now I'm trying to figure out a way to listen to the game on the radio without bugging my date. He's not a football kind of guy so I know he won't be listening to it anyway and I could just act all surprised and say something like "Oh wow....I forgot they were playing tonight."....lmao
But, since this is probably the most important date of my life (well at least in the last 20 years) I'm not willing to cancel....lol

yeah....long story short....Kenly's daddy is in the process of getting a divorce...and well we were gonna go to dinner tonight. But, something has come up with one of his other daughters and he had to cancel. We're trying to make it work for tomorrow night instead. Good news is that I can now listen to the game, cuz I don't think it's gonna be on tv.
I was really looking forward to this date....I guess maybe in my heart I've been waiting for him all these years...even if I was dating other people...even married someone else (but got divorced)....I think I've been waiting for him to leave his wife all this time...lol

My K-State Wildcats open tonite too, vs. UMass... logged in on the computer and listening, got my beer and pizza, working on Jovi-Porn ....

P.S. - If WHEN we win, I may be in a good enough mood to post a couple more chapters of "Guns..."

Well my husband grew up in Philadelphia so he's an Eagles fan, I grew up in San Francisco in the era of Joe Montana so I'm a 49ers fan. Our teams both won, so it's a good start to the season. we really enjoyed our football package today.

Hub's Cowboys, little man's Giants and my Niners all had an excellent day!!!
Tonight, it's pizza & wings to celebrate the first Monday Night Football of the season!!!

Suffering from slight "sports hangover" today. 4 games on TV, followed 2 on the web, plus 3 baseball games (Cubs & Phillies won, O's...not so much.) My teams... eh, 2 for 4. Eagles won big (HOOAH!), Steelers won on Thurs; KC lost (but played MUCH better than I expected) and Bears blew it (Seriously, Cutler? FOUR interceptions?) And I got to see Howie Long on Fox Football Sunday again. *dreamy sigh* Like a fine wine.....  I'll be recovered in time for MNF tonite! : ) Will actually cheer for the Pats (see Hath, I'm not a complete Philistine) and for My K-State Boy Darren Sproles and the Chargers. Ready for some FOOTBALL! |

Well, Catte, in that game, what choice do you have BUT to cheer for the Pats? Can you BE for Buffalo and not be FROM Buffalo? lol I'm psyched for the game. Got the truck all gassed up and ready to go; will start packing it up around 2:30. We're leaving at 3 to be sure we're there by 3:30 when the lot opens Bro and a pal, me and my dad. We'll be playing cards and cooking out. Does it GET any better than that? I'm with you on the Howie Long thing. I love it when he shows up in movies, as some sort of Marine or something. He fills out a set of camos VERY nicely.... |
