I just want to say thanks to Hath, Kris and Catte for the beautiful remembrances they posted on their blogs.
Catte, your tribute and video was very moving and you did a beautiful job. It moved me to tears.
Hath and Kris, your words were very touching, and I don't think any of us will ever forget where we were or who we were with or what we were doing on that horrific day.
Thank you ladies for remembering and for reminding us all to be thankful for our freedom, our military, our police, our firemen, all service personnel, and for every breath we take. All deserve our thanks and our gratitude for the job that they do to protect and serve us all bravely and selflessly.

I'm glad you liked it... it was rather therapeutic to put that slide show together. I went to a memorial ceremony at Andrews AFB this morning to honor those agents, and saw some old friends and colleagues. It was a nice way to remember the good times as well as the sad. Here's hoping we don't have to add any more portraits to that wall. I hope everyone had the chance to remember today, in their own way. There were lots of great stories here in the DC area about groups and individuals doing something special to help others today, as a "Day of Service." The "Power of We," alive and well...

I feel today is for celebrating the spirit of America. Celebrating our strength, and the way we band together in a crisis. To mourn all our fallen brothers and sisters who died tragically on that day. To appreciate all the firefighters and police officers that try to keep us save, they are real heroes, and not just on 9/11. To appreciate all the troops , whether or not you support the war, we must support the troops. Here are some more songs with a patriotic or 9/11 theme. I hope no one minds me posting them. » Hey Sam, loved what you said! I borrowed it for my BJ group. I knew you would not mind. Thanks for the links. Lily
