Beautiful pictures. At least it wasn't so much you can't get around. I like snow in small doses. It's very pretty to look at and makes a pretty picture.

I'm not sure about the small doses. It's still snowing, didn't stop since this morning. Those are the last pics I took before it got dark outside.

OOPs spoke too soon. I was caught up in the beauty of the pictures.
You girls be safe and be careful. It sounds treacherous. Nonetheless it's pretty to look at but not so much fun to be out in.
I hope it stops snowing for you soon.

Lol! Thats enough snow to bring England to a standstill. It only has to settle for a few centimeters and the country comes to a stop. We've had snow for the last 3 years and still it comes as a surprise, even worse in Scotland they get it every year and it seems to surprise them every time!
Be careful girls, enjoy the scenery but walk carefully!

SNOWING!! First time in five years...I can't believe! 7:15 am, thi is our garden. (Without flash) And with flash you can see the snowflakes I know my little daughter is going to wake up happy. It's a special day, Santa is coming to the school today, so he needs the snow for guiding the sleigh!! Btw.....It's cold!!!!

lol Being a New Englander, I chuckle at the excitement everyone who doesn't normally get snow has when the white and fluffy starts to fall I for one have come to hate the white stuff. But, if I make myself be objective, I can say everything looks so pretty and Christmasy -- until the edges of the road turn brown from all the car exhaust. We got more than 3 feet of snow overnight Saturday, with drifts upwards of 6 feet in some places in our yard. It took us 2 hours to clear the driveway and walkways, and 10 minutes to dig my son out of a drift he HAD to jump off the front steps into lol. Another 1/2 hour to dig out all the inflatable holiday decorations on the lawn, and 15 minutes to go dig out the fire hydrant across the street from my house. I for one, can't wait for summer ;D

Here it's snowing for four consecutive days now and we have -16°C. It's fucking cold. I can't remember the last time it was that cold here. My parents are pretty happy that they don't have to work these days and I'm thinking with horror about the cold church on Christmas Eve. You are already freezing like hell with only -2°C, I think I will be frozen to the seat before it's over! LOL

I normally don't set a toe outside my door when it snows (unless I HAVE to), but this weekend I had to take pity on my poor Hub and go out to help him shovel, or he woulda been out there for about 5 hours! Being a Chicago Boy, he thinks 28 inches is great -- I'm sending him for a mental health eval as soon as this crap melts. Kiddo loves it too, of course, not just because she gets to play in it but because she got an early Christmas present -- school break was supposed to begin Wednesday but now has begun as of the moment the first flake fell on Friday nite. She's currently driving me nuts--and it's only Monday. Gonna be fun watching the Cowboys and Redskins play in this crap tonight! I'm with ya, Sistah.... waiting impatiently for 99 in the Shade! Why the fuck did I ever agree to move from Phoenix? *grumble grumble snarl*

Its been snowing here for 4 days too although it seems to have turned to rain now, which will be SO much fun when it freezes later and turns the already slippery road into a no go area. I have to admit to being excited when I woke up on Friday and saw the snow, mainly because it meant the school holidays started a day early. However, now I'm sick of it, I'm fucking freezing and the roads are so dangerous, the main roads are ok but getting to them is mission virtually impossible.
I don't understand how you all cope with this year in year out, how the hell do you walk on the sidewalks without falling on your ass and breaking bones? At least I know now why you all have such have big cars in the US and Canada. Travel safe ladies. Can I emmigrate to California yet?

Gonna be fun watching the Cowboys and Redskins play in this crap tonight! SEE MY BRAIN IS FROZEN!!! The Redskins play the New York Football GIANTS tonight, not the Pussies Cowboys. I knew that -- I'm just completely numbed by the arrival of winter. *snarl* My most humble apologies to all you Giants fans out there... of which I'm really not, but will be cheering for them tonight as I hate the Foreskins almost as much as I hate the Cowboys. (E-A-G-L-E-S!!!!)I'm just in the cheeriest of holiday moods today, eh? Blame it on Jack Frost.... Need a nice warm jacuzzi with a nice hot Sambora.... Mmmmm

Well, listening to you guys makes me even more thankful that we haven't had a real dumping yet - just a couple light dustings that melt in a couple days. I haven't even had to wear my boots yet! North us got a bunch, but we've escaped so far. We never really had a summer - just a lot of rain, so I don't think that we should have to suffer through a winter either!

Here it finally starts to melt. But it's so much, it will still be here tomorrow and I'm sure it will start to snow again soon. My parents made sure to have enough food for days! LOL
Merry WHITE Christmas! LOL
