Prayers Needed for TaraLeigh

Some of you already got the news, but Tara didn't have access to her computer, so not everyone got the word. Her mom's not doing well. This is the message she sent out this morning:

Well, most of you know what's happening in Tara-land, but I wanted to send a mass email and if I missed anyone, spread it around to those you think need to know. My computer's down so I'm going from the contacts I have handy.

Mom gave us quite the scare. Unfortunately the cancer has moved into her brain. With the metz moving up there it also brought the seizures. Thursday night we thought we lost her, but mom's a fighter and rallied from death's door. She's up. She's getting checked out and we're going to go for radiation therapy.

It's not a cure, but it's giving us some time. If the radiation works, we'll go on to fight the colon cancer until it doesn't work for her anymore.

We're trying not to be sad--trying to look at each extra day as a gift. But we want her to have quality of life, not to force her to stay here for our own selfish needs.

So, that's where I am.

I love all you guys and can't express just how much everyone's support has meant to me.
