Philadelphia Soul ex-manager sues Bon Jovi, othersWednesday, January 28, 2009 | 2:30 PM AP PHILADELPHIA (AP) -January 28, 2009 -- The former sales manager for the Philadelphia Soul arena football team is suing club owner Jon Bon Jovi and his partners for nearly $125,000 he says he's owed. Joseph Krause of Jenkintown alleges that rock singer Bon Jovi and other team officials told employees they would receive two weeks of severance pay. The Arena Football League is canceling the 2009 season as it creates a better business model for tough economic times. Krause says he is owed commissions of more than $83,000 for the 2008 season and more than $41,000 for the canceled 2009 season This is where I found the article, there is a pic: abclocal.go.com/wtvd/story?section=news/entertainment&id=6629294&rss=rss-wtvd-article-6629294

So, Paul Korzilius is taking over, huh! Sounds like Jon is integrating his business ventures.
I think this guy that is suing them is just a disgruntled employee who is not happy with what he got as severance and wants more. I can't imagine him not being paid for what he was owed (2008 season).
Blaming Jon (or rather suing him for lost earnings) for there not being a 2009 season and he is owed for a season that never was is ridiculous. Jon was one of many owners that agreed to no season in 2009. There has to be teams to play against for there to be a league. This guy is greedy. IMO
Thanks for the find Kris. It was an interesting tidbit of info.

I didn't find it mys.
But I was thinking the same. I can't imagine that Jon or other managers of the Soul don't give employees the money they owed. I mean, they have a contract, right...and everybody knows that they would sue you, when they don't get what's in the contract...it doesn't make sense!!
