I gotta admit...I teared up a little at the little girl that cut off her hair for a cancer patient. My daughter cut her ponytail off for Locks of Love last summer...and she's growing it to do it again....she was only about 9 or 10 when she decided she wanted to do it. We let it grow and grow then cut it last summer....now she's 14 and doing it again. Her choice....I only encouraged her AFTER she decided to do it on her own.
I'm VERY proud!

I'm VERY proud! That's so great that she's doing that. I've done it twice (36" the first time, 20" the second). Both times, when I went in, I asked quietly about the donations, and they made a big deal of it, which almost had me bolting for the door. The first time I donated, there was a woman in getting a pedi, and she was bald as the day she was born. Told me she was a survivor, and I swear to God, I nearly broke down in tears in the salon. The second time, I went in before work lol Nobody there but us chickens then
