Lets send out some Jovi karma and prayers for Bret Michaels. I not a Poison fan, but I did like those two ballads they did "Every Rose Has It's Thorns" and "Something To Believe In."
The 47 year old Poison frontman is in critical condition at an undisclosed Los Angeles-area hospital after suffering a brain hemorrhage late Thursday.
Prayers going out to Bret, his family and friends. We are praying for a speedy recovery. Very sad, let's hope he gets well. Jovi Karma coming your way.

This news made me so sad.... I've been a Poison fan for years...their first album was one of the soundtracks of my college years/some great, slightly wild memories. Bret and the boys were responsible some of the great "hair band" hits of the era, for sure. Though those boys have definitely had their wild days and share of problems, I've always gotten the impression that Bret is really a good guy with a big heart. He certainly is very appreciative of his fans, and ALWAYS takes the time to connect with them. A friend of mine went to a festival he was playing a few years ago, and watched him spend over an hour and a half signing autographs & posing for pictures with fans after his set, with a huge smile on his face the entire time. Sending all the good Karma I can summon to Bret and his family, especially his daughters.

I'm with Catte. Poison was right up there on the college soundtrack for me. Loved the music, lots of great memories.
He does come off as a "man slut" on Rock of Love, but he's really a sweet guy. I saw him on one of those sing-the-lyrics shows, and he was nothing but nice to the contestant, and still sounds amazing. Trump has said that he's really impressed with Brett, and considers him a front-runner for the Celeb Apprentice, so he's a fairly smart guy, too.
Keeping Brett and his family in my prayers.

It's the first I hear about this...so sad news. I liked Poison very much, we even made a cover of his theme "talk dirty to me" at school (nuns school!) and we had a lot of success...
Prayers with him and his family.
