A puzzling question

Ok, bear with me on this one, my brain won't stop thinking about this.

Has Jon made Bobby an official member and just not told us? The reason I ask is this www.youtube.com/watch?v=J0nRxVicXB0&feature=player_embedded and the fact that Bobby was given quite a bit of exposure at the O2 shows, in fact he seems to be getting more attention than David or Tico.

How come Bobby gets to sing (granted it was last tour) but Dave doesn't?

good question...as a David girl, I'd like to see him singing on the tour, I love his voice...but you know...Jon is the boss. Sure there is some reason.

At the Blossom show, Southside Johnny said "The only thing I miss about Bobby is his voice." So maybe Jon did add him to the band, made him official like Hugh. Don't know.

No, Bobby's just "on loan" to Bon Jovi when they tour, and he backs up Jon in Jon's solo gigs. Southside did a few interviews recently supporting release of The Jukes' new album, where he talks about Bobby and working with Jon. He said he's "happy to let Jon have him (Bobby) because Jonny's been good to us." I thought that was sweet, since SSJ is Jon's idol. Bobby will be back with the Jukes once he's done touring with the Jovi Boys.

I think the reason Jon is pulling Bobby out more this tour is because he genuinely likes playing with him. They've known each other a long time, and I'm sure the whole jukebox thing just takes him back to the good ol' days in Asbury Park, playing the clubs. I think it's sweet -- I love all the guys, but it's nice to see Bobby get the spotlight too. He is amazingly talented, and his voice is fantastic with Jon's.

I have a little crush on Bobby. Always have.

Part of the reason I got to thinking about it is that I like Bobby's voice too, in fact I was surprised at how he sounded and would like to hear more. I just didn't understand how he gets more recognition than the 'official' members, and don't even get me started on Hugh. Has anyone bothered to watch him during the show? He's actually a funny guy, I had a lot of giggles at the O2 thanks to him.
