BON JOVI rocker JON BON JOVI fears he may be starting to lose his hair - and is already devising treatments to help save his prized locks.
The 46-year-old singer has long been known for his long, flowing tresses but has opted for a shorter style in recent years. And he puts the change down to his receding hairline, which is starting to make him paranoid about ending up bald. Bon Jovi says, "Oh, let me tell you, I am so worried (about my hair). I look at guys like Sting and think, 'Well, he's cool about it,' but I'm already losing it a bit and I'm so aware of it. "Someone told me that you have to regularly massage your scalp, so I do that all the time. You look like a jerk, but it's got to be worth a shot, right?"

Jon has plenty of hair. He can transplant some from the back to the front.

"Jon has plenty of hair. He can transplant some from the back to the front."
The problem with that is he is getting very thin from the back too. When he had his hair shorter than it is now, I could see where he was very thin in the back at the crown and a little bald spot starting that he was trying to cover up. So, front or back would make no difference.
Someone needs to tell him to stop wearing baseball caps. The doctor told my brother that that is why he was losing his hair prematurely. Wearing hats all the times makes men lose their hair.
I don't know about the massage technique, but has Jon ever heard of Rogaine.
He is still one sexy dude at 46!

You know Denise, I don't think he looks bad at all. It is just you get used to seeing a person a certain way. We just have to get used to seeing him with no hair. He is still a great looking guy just in a different way.
Like he said, look at Sting. He is a great looking guy with or without hair. You just have to get used to seeing the new look.

Jon's absolutely sexy! I have a gay friend who had transplant done, he had very little hair. He was chicken to go alone, so he took his " straight girlfriend" with him, for the consolation. Elton John had it done and he didn't have a lot hair to begin with. I think they said they can add hair to your own. There's stuff better then Rogaine out there. This stuff called ProCede, you only have to use once every 30 days. You learn a lot having gay male friends! lol!

Hopefully, Jon will read all of this and get some suggestions to put his fears to rest and know that with or without hair, we think he is still an absolutely sexy man!

I agree with you sweetie. My hubby is a perfect example of this. When I met him he had hair just like Jon and then slowly but surely it was not. lol Hubby calls it a hole in his haircut. lmao. But it sure didn't affect him still remaining a great person or good looking man, he just looked different. And it didn't affect his performance in the bedroom either. ;D

I live in New York now, but I'm originally from San Francisco. I went to San Francisco State University. So I met lots of gay men there. They are more open to talk about this stuff then straight men. I learned a lot! Taught me how to deal with men better.

Another article I found, don't you just love google alerts?
Even Jon Bon Jovi Suffers From Male Pattern Baldness
Written by Richard Simmons | Friday, 20 February 2009
Male pattern baldness can be distressing to the regular guy who has a regular haircut and does a regular job but if you are world famous rock star Jon Bon Jovi losing your hair can be catastrophic. Jon Bon Jovi over his career has been identified with his big hair and losing it is said to be causing him a lot of worry. Even Jon Bon Jovi Suffers From Male Pattern Baldness
Jon who is 46 years old has been slowly cutting his hair back from his big hair rocking days in recent years which is a very sensible thing to do. Men who are suffering from male pattern baldness should never try to cover up their hair loss by growing their hair long because it will merely make it more obvious. Short hair is always the way forward to minimise the visual effects of male pattern baldness.
Rumour has it that Jon has started getting treatment for his male pattern baldness but it is not known whether he is using the hair loss drug Propecia. Many rock stars, celebrities and film stars whose images are part of their corporate identity often opt for hair transplant surgery when their hair loss becomes noticeable. John Travolta, Mel Gibson and Kevin Costner are all known to have made use of hair transplant surgery to beat the effects of male pattern baldness. Ukmedix News has also previously reported on the fact that Tom Hanks has made use of the hair loss drug Propecia with good effects.
You should take a decision about whether your hair is important you immediately when male pattern baldness begins to appear because the longer you delay doing something about it the more likely your treatment will be ineffective. Men who use Propecia at the first sign of male pattern baldness have much higher success rate than those who delay taking it for a number of years.

To me, sexiness is a lot more than just how somebody looks. To me sexiness comes from with in as well. I know that Jon is a good guy, who tries to do the right thing, he's a family guy. He also has beautiful eyes, drop dead sexy smile, a nice body. All these things, included make him sexy to me.
