Good morning, in two hours the session in court starts. I'll be representing the Public Prosecution Service, nobody else will be there with me. Just little me I'm a little nervous. I don't wanna make a mistake and let the guy get away. I have to say though I prepared as best as I could. I talked with the prosecutor about this case, he said he would do it the way I explained it to him, now I really hope that none of the six witnesses makes a 180° turn and says something completely different. Please send some Jovi Karma my way, may need it. ~Kris~

Well, it's been way more than 2 hours since you posted, so I'm guessing it's already done & over with. I'm sure you did great, but will send a little extra Jovi Karma anyways. LOL.

Yeah, it was a first for me, Mattie. And the prosecutor doesn't have a choice. It's part of our education program. He has to let me do it several times.
The judge and the defense attorney were great. I was a little worried though at the beginning, because the judge is only about three or four years older than me. She just started in her job, so she was nervous too. lol The defense attorney was the most experienced one in the room, which could have been a problem, especially for me as the representiv of the Public Prosecution Service. But he was totally playing fair and not pulling any bad stunts.
The trial itself was emotinal...as expect when a crime happens inside a family and several family members are witnesses while the rest of the family is sitting in the courtroom watching everything you do. I really had to take a deep breath before reading out loud the charges. Right when we heard the first witness we realized it would be though to find out what really happend. That's what a criminal court should do...figure out the truth, right, even so we started working together. First the judge would ask, then me and at the end the attorney, what made really sense in our case because he had the most experience. lol After all six witnesses my head was nearly exploding. I prayed the judge wouldn't ask me to give my final speech now, because it simply wasn't possible. Luckily, she saw the difficulties as well and said that she really would like to discuss this case now. The only problem we had, were all those people in the room. So we started throwing numbers at each other. lol Only someone who studied law would have realized what we were talking about. It was really funny. lol
After everything was over and we were alone, we looked at each other and all together ask "Ok, did he do it?" I couldn't believe it, we started laughing out loud and the defense attorney said even he had no clue. lol
I have to say I was exhausted after this three hour trial. Collapsed on my bed when I was home. lol
