Blogger Policy change

Well, I got an email from google blogger that they are changing their policies. So come June 30th (in THREE days) all blogs that have x-rated content or ads will be deleted. They advise to remove the content and ads.

Well, not really possible for me. I would have to remove significant parts of my story (or better stories, I think there is only one that is not x-rated) and that will not happen.

So, if you have a blog too and you are posting stories, don't be surprised if your work will be vanished by the end of the month. I still hope they ain't going for it, but I have to say that email looks pretty real. So, we'll see.

I can't find anything about this any where in the blogger buzz (news) or in their TOS stuff, and I didn't get an email about it. This is so very odd. Is it possible that they have already viewed your blog and consider it X-rated and that's why they sent you an email? And either they haven't gotten around to viewing mine yet, or don't consider mine x-rated...just r-rated (which in the US means not quite as bad as X)?

Ok, a friend forwarded their email to me ....so now, I've seen it. I think the real issue they're talking about is allowing ads on your blog that are related to porn, or adult content....like ads for porn sites, vibrators, and the like. The way I read it, the blog itself, as long as it contains no ads for x-rated material would be okay.
