www.gmppodcast.com/Stream/WMMR/This is a radio station in Philly, and they do these blocks of music during the lunch break. They're doing David Bowie right now, but after Bowie, they're doing a Jovi set, and Obie is going to be in the studio with a new version of Keep The Faith and other Jovi news. I'm able to get on from work, so I'm hoping nobody needs me  I think I'm going to be able to capture it too, we'll see. If I can, I'll post it for sure.

I did get it. I got Obie's yapping, too. There are a few (4) random PC beeps b/c I was recording off my sound card, and my PC was being a bitch, but I got it. Yes, it's the version from that record that's coming out next Tuesday. And assuming I get my laptop back before I have to leave, I'll clean it up and post it to my inbox account tonight. It was different, but good. I totally want to hear Queen Latifah's version of "Oh Happy Day". I love that song. *sigh* guess who's buying this album next week! lol ~ Hath Jon did a fantastic job with the vocals, and I could all but see him hopping around the church, waving his arms while he sang  yes, they actually recorded this in a church with a gospel choir. |

Very, very similar. I would say that the version on the Oh Happy Day is more Baptist Revival than what was on YouTube. Different enough that you'd want both versions, shall we say I'll have both MP3s in my Inbox tonight. |

Thanks Lisa for sharing that!
It was interesting. Definitely not how we are used to hearing Jon or that song. I think Jon did a great job and after a few listens it will grow on me like the Lost Highway album did. Just need to get used to the different feel of the song, but vocally, I think Jon has a lot of soul and did a great job.
