So what do you all think about the Madonna adoption attempt? The judge denied her attempt to adopt another Malawian child. Now I guess she broke some rules about residency. But this is a child in one of the poorest countries in the world. Madonna would give this child the best education, they best of everything. Now, I'm not really a fan of Madonna. I like some of her songs, but I don't think I would pay to see her in concert. But I think she is doing a good thing here, take a child out of the worst poverty and giving her a chance at life. I'm not so sure that if it was another celebrity, that the judge would have still said no. What do you all think?

I think it is good, whenever a child is taken out of poverty and given a better life

Honestly, I'm torn.
On the one hand it would be a great chance for this kid, on the other hand they have that law in Malawi that says: Adoptions are only allowed for couples. Which is probably a good idea to make sure a kid that's already gone to a lot and ended up in a home, gets into an intact family. And we all know that Madonna got divorced a little while ago. Just because she's Madonna, they can't give her benefits and somehow agree to the adoption against the law. One other thing that really bothers me is her behaviour...just because she's supporting the country with charity projects (that's a good thing, don'get me wrong, but I think she's doing it for he wrong reasons), she thinks she can come and pick out a child. That comes close to buying that little girl.
