Omg! I'm so freaked out right now.
BINGHAMTON, N.Y. –a town about 15 minutes from where I live. A gun man went into the American Legion Civic building and started firing! There are reports that 13 are dead. I can't believe something like this could happen here. Nothing ever happens in our area. I live in the town next to this Apalachin, which is a Mayberry (Andy Griffith Show) type town. My God my area is on CNN and all the other news stations.
I really can't believe this is happening here!

Omg Lily! That would freak me out too! I heard 13 are dead and as many as 26 injured!

Thanks everyone!I grew up in San Francisco, a large city. This area is so small town. I mention my neighbor's name and everyone knows her! The crime, when there is some is usually drug people who come from New York City area. I leave my door open 24hrs a day. This really just shocked me

what is going wrong in this world? shortly the amok run here in Germany, it is a pretty small town, too. and I have a friend there who has 3 kids at this school.

OMG! They had kids in that school! Are they ok?...That guy was really scary, he shot mainly girls...sometimes I can understand parents who want private teacher for their kids.

The world is just going crazy!Some stories on the US national news this week: There is a guy who's wife left him, he was so distraught he killed his five children and then turn the gun on himself.
Police were called to a house of reported spousal abuse. The man gunned down four police man when they arrived.
Can't we all just get along? The world has gone nuts!

I know what you mean, I feel the same way! I think the world is going crazy one lunatic at a time! It can't all be unemployment woes, some of these people had jobs before they did the unthinkable. I guess you never really know what will make someone snap and do something they can never take back. It is all so senseless.  |
