And, I don't even know him....but he's a hometown boy!!
Way to go, Arkansas' own Kris Allen....The new American Idol!!!
He's from Conway...which is only about 50 miles or so from where I live. We're so proud of him here!!

I watched all season and I have to say I was disappointed when Danny Gokey was voted off, but way to go Kris!!! The finale last night was fantastic!!

I have to say that I was surprised that he beat Adam, but I am happy for him.
I think that this was actually one of the best seasons for Idol as far as talent is concerned.
The duet with Kris and Keith Urban was fantastic, and Adam with KISS was incredible!
I like Gokey too. And Alison. I think the entire top 5 will do very well.

I was really happy he won. The other guy was good, maybe great even and that's kinda my point - he was just too good for me I think. Kind of like when they let professional athletes compete in the Olympics - don't know guess I just love to see a good come from behind story.
