My mom just called and told me. A total shock. Have been at two concerts back in the '90 during the History Tour. A great artist and performer. Still can't believe it. I feel really sorry for his kids, hopefully there won't be any fights who will take care of them now.

I wasn't lucky enough to go to a show, so I guess, it's something I will never do...not now. But I saw some live shows on tv and yes, he was a great performer. Some kind of genious in some way.

Most definitly.
Just saw some pics on tv from this morning when the news about his dead went out to the world. People on Times Square stopped in shock. Same reaction in Japan and here in Germany the people wouldn't believe their eyes when the saw the newspapers this morning. They compare it with the death of John Lennon and Elvis Presley.
