So, you may remember from the old board, I had a thread up about my dad and the issues he's going through. Well, he's met a milestone this week; 1 week without a cath. He's been cath'd since Thanksgiving. We actually thought he was going to need surgery to repair damage so he could be unplugged, but they were able to treat it medically. He's got appointments later this month with the prostate cancer and lung docs; hopefully we get more good news there. Thanks everyone for your support and prayers  |

We had a blow this week. My dad had a CT scan done, and it looks like the growths in his lungs are bigger this time around. It's so bad apparently that his lung doc made an emergency appt for a PET scan tomorrow and another with a thoracic surgeon for next Tuesday. They're testing to determine if he has stage 4 cancer, which is what they think he's got. They can't biopsy b/c they're worrying about collapsing his lung.
I can't even think about it without getting all teary eyed.
So, if you're a praying sort, I'd really appreciate you keeping him in your prayers...
